Dave Shedlock - Lowe's Project Manager

    Before coming to B.C. Stone Dave was a Branch Manager in the finance industry for nearly thirty years. He is a graduate of St. Francis University with a Bachelor of Sience degree in Business Management. While attending St. Francis, he was a four year starter at defensive back for the Redflash. Dave has been a volunteer firefighter for over 30 years. He has held numerous offices over the years including Assistant Chief. He is currently in his fourth term as President of The Bedford Volunteer Fire Department. In 2003 he was selected Bedford County Fireman’s Association firefighter of the year. Dave and his wife Marianne have been married for thirty years. They have two children Angie and Eric.

Bryan Nave

     Bryan started with BC Stone in the spring of 2005 as part of the sales team.  He married his wife, Mandy, in 2000 and has three children; Andrew, Kayla, and Annie.  He enjoys sports, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  Bryan and his family are active members of the Everett Assembly of God church.  He and Mandy teach wellness, business, and leadership principals at Team/Mona Vie events.  Bryan and Andrew own a small landscaping business doing a couple of projects during the summer months.  He has served in the US Air Force, worked for a fortune 500 company as a quality inspector, and worked as a heavy equipment operator before coming to BC Stone.

Shawn Hendershot

Shawn started with B.C. Stone Inc. in 1997. He has held many positions with the company until joining the sales team in 2007. He married his wife Tracey in 1998 and has two children Noelle and Elliott. They are members of the Everett Church of The Brethren. He enjoys spending his spare time with his family and flying.



Andy Feight- Cosco Project Manager

Before coming to B.C. Stone Andy attended California University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Based Systems Management. He has worked in almost every position at B.C. Stone since starting with the company in 2001. He is an active member of Community Grace Brethren Church. Andy and his wife Amanda have been married for nine years and have three children Maggie, Mollie, and Matthew.

Gary Laidig







Gary Cooper- Customer Service Supervisor

After living for over 20 years in the Philadelphia area, Gary Cooper has found a home at B.C. Stone, even though it makes him the lone Eagles fan in Steeler country. He and his wife JoAnne have been married for 27 years and are the proud parents of two great children, Matthew and Emily and they just recently became Grandparents of a sweet little girl named Isabella. Gary is an expert on the Titanic and has lectured in schools on the subject. Additionally, he recently developed a passion for acting and has enjoyed performing in The Gardner Memorial Theater with the Bedford County Players, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors and has completed 11 performances in 3 years in parts ranging from leads to subordinate roles.

Travis Collins

Travis’ background was in Auto mechanics. He began fabricating for a fledgling stone company in Washington DC in the late 1980’s and worked up through the ranks.  In 1993 he started BC Stone with Rodney Bair.  Over the past 17 years the two also purchased, restored, and opened a fitness center named Rock Body Gym, a hotel and restaurant called The Union Hotel, and several rental properties. Travis is a current board member and past Chair of The Bedford County Development Association, and has served on numerous other local boards such as, Unified Family Services, The Lincoln Highway Heritage Board, Junior Achievement, Bedford County Vo-Tech Advisory Board, and The Raystown Canoe Club.  To escape the stresses of the business world he plays guitar on the church worship team with his wife Kimberly who sings like an angel and spends weekends with the family at their cabin on the farm.  Travis and Kimberly have been married for 23 years.  Their son Richard is attending IUP and very active in the family business.  Rebecca is immersed in numerous dance classes and never misses a chance to perform.
